An unmissable event in the city, the great festivals of Foix are quite a symbol for the inhabitants. Every year on the first weekend of September, it's the same story. The fairgrounds take their place in the heart of the county town, the stage is set up, the fireworks is launched, the festivities begin!

The start of the Foix festivals is always marked by the spectacular fireworks shot above the Castle of. For more than a quarter of an hour, the whole town marvels at this spectacle which only embellishes the sumptuous Château de Foix.

A fantastic funfair in the heart of the town of Foix
On the Villote aisles and on the field of Mars, magic comes to life. The irresistible smells of pancakes, churros and candy apples emanate from the stands. The fairgrounds take the microphone and encourage young and old to take a ride. The children take great pleasure in rushing into the bumper cars. The faces are smiling, the children are euphoric, impossible to deny, it's party !
