Our territory is the core of a very large associative fabric where conviviality, festivity and creativity mix together to the delight of visitors and locals. One of the most active associations is called Foix Terre d'Histoire. The Foix Terre d'Histoire team and its many volunteers offer activities throughout the year to discover or rediscover the city of Foix and its history in an original way.
The Foix Terre d’Histoire summer show
Every year, in August, the Foix Terre d'Histoire association puts on its most beautiful costumes and brings to life before your eyes all the rich history of the city of Foix and the department of Ariège in the fabulous setting of Espinet Theater in Foix.
From Greco-Roman mythology to the present day, you will travel through the centuries to discover the lives of those who marked and changed the course of history.

In May, discover the town of Foix in a new light, or rather under a new moon, and in a very special dimension.

The Foix Terre d'Histoire association is an adventure that has now brought together many people of all ages for more than 40 years now.
