A fascinating exhibition about heroism, from the beginning of history to the present day. It offers an immersion in the epic stories and legends who have shaped our perception of heroism throughout the ages.

As we climb the stairs, we already know what to expect: a visual exhibition, which makes you want to be interested in the heroes.
It's none other than Spiderman perched on his web who welcomes us!
Now is the time to make a real time travel, further back in our history: Ulysses, Hercules, Gaston Fébus, Joan of Arc, the knights of the round table... The whole story is dissected to highlight the story of heroes, heroism and its evolution over time.
This exhibition has its place in the Château de Foix, we evoke the legend of Pyrene through the story of Hercules, but also Gaston Fébus who was the last Count of Foix.
So what is Spiderman doing in this whole story you ask? Well, this exhibition reveals how modern heroes were created and how our history may have led to the birth of these iconic comic book figures in the 30s.
