To gain recognition for this continuous improvement of services, these quality approaches are based on dedicated standards or benchmarks.

LA TOURISME™ QUALITY BRAND, created by the ministry in charge of French tourism, is recognition of the continuous improvement initiatives in the quality of services put in place by Tourist Offices.
An audit is carried out every 5 years.

Since 2019, the Foix Ariège Pyrénées tourist office has been involved in this approach and holds the Qualité Tourisme brand.
